Body image greatly influences a woman’s quality of life. We believe that looking at the mirror everyday is a unique personal experience for each individual. But beauty and a perfect body do not last a lifetime. Body changes such as sagging and asymmetry of the breasts can be unpleasant to look at and can even make you look older. Fortunately, having a breast augmentation can help restore lost breast volume and enhance its shape, size and contour to satisfy one’s desires. It can also offer long-term solution to underdeveloped breasts during puberty and help reconstruct surgically removed breasts to achieve a more appealing breast contour through the use of breast implants.
We offer breast augmentation packages that are tailored to suit each individual needs. Our team of FRACS-certified surgeons and registered nurses are individually hand-picked based on their accreditations, training and experience. Because of the high volume of patients they treat, you are assured that your surgical experience will be safe and that your desired breast profile can be achieved. We offer the latest and most stable breast implants on the market at highly competitive prices. Talk to one of our surgeons or friendly customer service agents in case of inquiries about the procedure. We assure that our clients will have a better understanding of what they will go through before engaging in any aesthetic procedure.
Am I a good candidate for breast implants surgery?
Being a good candidate for the procedure depends on several factors such as the following:
- Your medical history – you should be very honest with regards to your medical history as certain medical conditions such as clotting or bleeding disorders, hypertension, or heart disorders can alter the outcome of breast augmentation. The healing process can be delayed or certain complications may arise.
- Your current medications – if you are taking Aspirin, it is recommended to stop it few weeks before the surgery as it can increase your risk for bleeding or hemorrhage.
- Your smoking habits – the nicotine in cigarettes constricts the blood vessels, thus resulting in impaired blood circulation which may delay the healing process.
- Your goals, reasons and expectations about the procedure – it is vital that you have specific, measureable, attainable, realistic and time-bounded goals and expectations about the procedure to achieve natural results. You must do this to make yourself happy and not to fulfill someone else’s desires.
What are the limitations of the procedure?
Breast implants are not designed to last a lifetime. It needs to be replaced after 10 to 15 years with new implants or you can decide to have it removed. Breast augmentation alone cannot address severe sagging of the breasts. A breast lift procedure may be done in conjunction with breast augmentation to achieve fuller and rounder breasts. Having breast implants requires regular visits with your surgeon to determine and assess your implants and breast health.
What happens during the procedure?
A certified anesthesiologist will put you to sleep using general anesthesia. When the anesthesia has taken effect, your surgeon will create an incision in your breasts (can be made on the breast crease, armpit, areola or navel) for the implants to be inserted. After placement is verified by your surgeon, the wound will be now closed using absorbable sutures. A surgical drain may be inserted to remove body fluids that may accumulate inside the wound. Sterile dressings will be placed over the wound to protect it. You will be observed for 24 to 48 hours for any complications. Until then, you will be discharged with specific instructions regarding wound care, medications, and when to return for follow-up.
What signs and symptoms should I be alert for?
Normally, your surgical wound can be swollen for a few days to a week. Bruising, tolerable pain and minimal discomforts are expected. Your doctor will prescribe you with oral pain-killers to ease discomforts. However, if you feel like the pain is increasing and can be unbearable, consult with your surgeon immediately. Also, watch out for fever, pus in the wound, severe swelling, palpable or visible implants and changes in breast sensation. In case of unwanted signs and symptoms, another surgery may be required to correct the placement of implants or to remove it permanently.
How much will I need to spend for the procedure?
In general, the total costs will depend on your medications, anesthesia, type of implant used, dressings and garments. Your surgeon’s fee will depend on his or her training and experience. Usually, the more experience a surgeon is, the more expensive the cosmetic procedure. Talk to our surgeons or customer service agents for you to get a written estimate of the procedure. We have breast augmentation packages and financing options to suit your budget. Whatever the cost it, we assure you that only the most stable and safest implants will be used during the procedure.
