• Do not touch the surgical wound with dirty hands to avoid infection.

• Increase your intake of foods rich in protein.

• Return to your doctor for follow-up in order to assess your breast health and the condition of your implants.

• Wear a support bra or specialized breast garment to avoid unnecessary movements of the breasts.

Breast augmentation may offer long-term solution to your unbalanced and underdeveloped breasts. However, breast implants need to be replaced after 10 to 15 years because of the possibility of rupture. After the surgery, the results are immediately visible. When the swelling finally subsided, its final appearance is noticeable. Talk to your surgeon about the normal and abnormal breast appearance as you recover from the surgery.
